Chinese technology firm realme is poised to re-enter the competitive tablet market with its new Pad 3, targeting an India launch in late 2025 or early 2026.
The move marks realme’s return to the tablet segment after its Pad 2 model was introduced in July 2023. The brand has been largely absent from the market since that release.
Details about the upcoming device were shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on social media platform X.
The realme Pad 3 will reportedly be available in two main versions: a Wi-Fi-only model and a 5G-enabled variant.
The 5G version, identified by model number RMP2501, is expected to come in Space Grey and Champagne Gold colors. It will offer configurations of 8 GB of RAM with either 128 GB or 256 GB of internal storage.
Similarly, the Wi-Fi-only version (model number RMP2502) will also feature Space Grey and Champagne Gold color options. It will match the 5G model’s memory configurations with 8 GB of RAM and storage choices of 128 GB or 256 GB.
Specific technical details regarding the Pad 3’s screen, processor, or battery capacity have not yet been disclosed. Industry observers will be watching to see how realme upgrades these specifications from its predecessor to compete effectively.
The realme Pad 2, launched in 2023, featured a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, an 11.5-inch 2K LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, an 8-megapixel main camera, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
It was equipped with an 8,360 mAh battery supporting 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, along with quad speakers and Dolby Atmos audio. The realme Pad 2 had a starting price of approximately $240 for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant.
