The month of February will be marked by the different launches of new smartphones in the Android universe. On the first day of the month we will (finally) meet Samsung’s premium Galaxy S23 series and on the 9th there will be more good news.

It is on this day that Realme will officially announce the new GT Neo 5, which will be the fastest smartphone with support for 240-watt fast charging.

The brand has already begun to publish several promotional videos that reveal a little more about the new terminal. The last video shows a design detail that draws a lot of attention.

On the rear panel of the model, around the rear camera setup is an LED illumination that, once activated, emits a purple hue. This is a striking feature that gives the new terminal a very special style.

Expected specifications on Realme GT Neo 5

As already mentioned, one of the biggest draws of the GT Neo 5 is its support for fast charging at 240 watts. Recently, a Realme employee came forward to claim that with a 30-second charge, it is possible to watch an episode of a series that is one hour long.

Another plus is that Realme claims that this smartphone will be able to complete 1600 full charge and discharge cycles, much more than what is provided as standard. This means that the model will have a useful life of four years.

In addition, in the optical part it has a rear camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and even a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
