Realme is preparing to launch Realme GT 5 in China on August 28th. As the launch date approaches, the brand has been collecting data and has now shown that this is the case 240W charging support, This allows the battery to be charged very quickly.
According to Weibo post by chuchu_jessie (Marketing Director of Realme China), the latest flagship phone will support 240W fast charging. “The cost of 240W charging is very high, but the company wants to introduce this support in its smartphones because users need it.”says the manager.
The post also confirms that the device comes with the SuperVOOC S charging technology for longer battery life. This technology allows for fast device charging with minimal impact on battery health.
The phone gives users nearly 2 hours of talk time on a 30 second charge.
However, the company has not yet announced the battery capacity of the GT 5. The upcoming 240W fast charging technology can charge a 4500mAh battery to full capacity in 9 minutes.

The device is rumored to be available in two battery variants: 4600 mAh with 240 W charging power and 5200 mAh with 150 W charging power. Under the hood, you’ll find a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip paired with 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM.
The phone offers multiple storage options, ranging from 128GB to 1TB. Finally, the GT 5 is said to have a 6.74-inch OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 144Hz.
