Since MediaTek unveiled its latest high-end processor, there is no shortage of entities that want to join the new Dimensity 9000. Brands such as Oppo, Redmi, Vivo or Honor are part of this lot and now we have one more confirmation.
Through the Chinese platform Weibo, executive Xu Qi Chase confirmed that Realme also wants to use the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 in its next team. It remains to be seen what the model will be.

Mediatek Dimensity 9000 is the latest chip top of the range revealed by the Chinese company. This is the most advanced processor of the brand and has proven to be a serious competitor to Qualcomm’s dominance in this segment.
Faced with such encouraging preliminary results, several brands in the mobile communications market rushed to confirm their intention to use this SoC. The most recent was Realme, however he did not completely lift the veil of his intentions.
Note that the Chinese tech company has not publicly revealed which model will be chosen to house the MediaTek Dimensity 9000. However, speculators point out that this SoC could be part of the Realme GT 2.
On December 20, Realme will present its best flagship, the GT 2 Pro. It will use the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 as the engine, but we already know that the brand will present a base version of this top of the range.
Taking this intention into account, the new Dimensity 9000 could be the engine of choice for the Realme GT 2. In this way, both devices would be aimed at the high-end segment, however, with the possibility of having different availability.
It would not be surprising if the Realme GT 2 Pro was aimed at global markets, while the GT 2 could remain exclusively in China. However, none of these theories were confirmed by the brand.
It is true that Realme will also have its top of the range with the new Dimensity 9000. It remains to be seen what this model will really be and in which markets it will be available.
