Realme announced its latest mid-range Android smartphone which will hit the market in early 2022. This is a model really 9i, ushering in a wave of releases with updated features for the new year.
First of all, its design is similar to several models from its sister company, OPPO, which coordinates its designs, as well as those of OnePlus. Thus, we see that in this phone the Snapdragon processor and the 90 Hz screen also stand out.
This is the new mid-range smartphone Realme 9i
The design of the new smartphone is marked by the main camera, at the rear, with a rectangular module slightly raised from its body. There we can find the three rear cameras, highlighting the two largest sensors, while the third sensor, auxiliary, is displaced to the center, just below the double LED flash.
On the right side of the smartphone we find its On / Off button with built-in fingerprint reader, while on the left side is the volume selector. We also see a thin frame that surrounds the screen, with a front camera Drillingas well as rounded corners to complete its modern look.
The phone has a 6.6-inch diagonal IPS LCD screen with Full-HD + (1080p) resolution with a high image refresh rate of 90 Hz. Note, however, that this value may vary between 30, 48 , 50 or 68 Hz to save power.
Its processor is Snapdragon 680 (4G) from Qualcomm

The highlight, however, is its Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 (4G) processor. It is, therefore, a mid-range SoC with good processing power, but deprived of access to fifth-generation mobile networks. That is, without 5G.
On the other hand, the new Realme 9i smartphone has 6 GB of RAM, as well as 128 GB of internal storage, as well as expansion through a micro SD memory card. Its operating system is Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 installed.

This same smartphone is also available with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage in the most affordable base version. It has a total of three configurations, namely: 4 + 64 GB; 4 + 128 GB and finally 6 + 128 GB.
The new smartphone is expected to be updated with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0 at a later stage. However, we also give an account of its two color tones – black and blue – available to the public.

OPPO A36 smartphone main specifications
Finally, Realme has yet to comment on the availability of this phone outside of China, although this is likely to happen. However, we note its strong similarities with the new OPPO A36 launched by the parent company.
