The realme series is pushing the boundaries of mid-range smartphones with the upcoming release of the realme 14 5G. Recently, the company has confirmed some design aspects and key specs of the device, including its processor and battery capacity.
The realme 14 5G boasts a “Mecha Design” similar to the realme P3 5G, which is set to launch in India next week. This design features a sleek silver body, sharp edges, and a distinctive yellow power button, giving it a futuristic look. The back of the device has a mechanical design that evokes a sense of modern machinery.
In terms of hardware, the realme 14 5G is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, a first for the market. This powerful processor has a maximum clock speed of 2.3 GHz, and realme claims it has achieved a score of 810,000 on the AnTuTu platform. Additionally, the device comes with a large 6,000 mAh battery.

Rumors suggest that the realme 14 5G might be rebranded as the realme Neo 7x 5G, which could feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera.
The realme 14 5G is also expected to come with IP68/IP69 rating, which means it can withstand being submerged in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes and can handle high water pressure at temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius. Additionally, it will feature stereo speakers and an under-display fingerprint sensor.
There are rumors that the realme 14 5G will be available for purchase at the end of March 2025.
