References to realityOS They’ve been appearing in Apple’s code for months now, and the trademark has been registered.
The name seems to refer to the operating system for use in Apple’s virtual reality headsets.
Now, Nick Chan (@riscv64) has discovered additional references to realityOS, this time in Apple’s open source GitHub repository. This discovery was shared by user @aaronp613 in a tweet.

Like the previous realityOS leak, seems to confirm that it is a proprietary operating system with a unique simulator tool. Apple removed the reference the last time it was discovered, so it probably won’t be around for long.
A December 2022 report suggested that Apple may have named the operating system “xrOS”. There was no evidence of this name change.
The Apple VR Headset is expected to be announced during WWDC 2023 in June. PIt can cost around $3,000 and be developer focused on your first iteration.
