After three weeks on the challenging natural landscapes of the Dominican Republic, influencer Fernanda Flores has been eliminated from “La Isla: Desafío Extremo.” She is the third participant, and another woman, to depart the competition.
Flores, 27, was part of the ‘Tiburones’ team. She entered the second group of nominees for the week, defined on the same day as her elimination.
She lost a strength and balance challenge that required arranging small wooden blocks spelling “La Isla” on a tilted platform. Participants pulled the platform back with a rope, holding the blocks in place while raising their team’s flag. Flores dropped her blocks at the final moment.
Upon realizing her elimination, the Mexican reality star stood still as her teammates reacted with surprise. Martín Salvador approached her for an embrace shortly after. “I tried,” Flores responded.
Despite the disappointment, Flores expressed a sense of relief and joy at the prospect of returning home. She looked forward to eating what she wanted and hugging her family.
Flores reflected that the way the pieces fell at the very end, just as she reached for her flag, felt “destined to happen.” She added that she had prayed before the elimination challenge, placing her fate in God’s hands.
Fernanda Flores is a well-known influencer, model, and reality star.
