Real Sociedad’s idea for its striker for next season

The Real society is already working on planning its squad for the 2023/24 season, with a clear focus on boosting its offensive rotation and consolidating itself as a competitive team in the UEFA Champions League. One of the main ideas is to give a chance to Umar Sadiqwho missed all of the previous season due to injury.

Sadiq joined the Basque side last summer for a reported €20m fee and got off to a promising start, scoring three goals in five LaLiga games. However, his injury left him off the pitch for the entire season. Now, Real Sociedad is willing to trust him and give him the opportunity to be the starting striker next season.

In addition, the club is considering the possibility of trying again to sign alexander sorloth, who is currently at RB Leipzig. The Norwegian forward was on loan at Real Sociedad last season and left a good impression, scoring 16 goals in 46 appearances in all competitions. The leaders of the Real would be willing to negotiate a price of between 8 and 10 million euros for the return of Sorloth.

However, if Leipzig does not accept the Basque team’s offer for Sorloth, Real Sociedad will look for other options in the center forward market, but without making large financial investments. They are confident that Sadiq can take over the role of starting striker and are willing to bet on him.

Next season will be crucial for Real Sociedad, as they will participate in the prestigious UEFA Champions League and will need a powerful and effective striker. With confidence in Sadiq and the possible addition of Sorloth, the team hopes to have a scoring duo that will allow them to compete on all fronts.
