Frosinone has been very active during this transfer window, strengthening his squad for the Serie A return after a four-year absence. The team led by Eusebio Di Francesco have added several interesting signings including Enzo Barrenechea, Matias Soule and Kaio Jorge from Juventus, Pol Lirola from Marseille and Walid Cheddira from Napoli.
Reinier, 21, spent last season on loan at Girona, where he put up a rather understated performance, scoring just two goals and one assist in 18 league games. Prior to Girona, Reinier was on loan at Borussia Dortmund where he failed to contribute directly to goals, which was a disappointing experience.
This new loan deal to Frosinone offers a new opportunity for the promising Brazilian striker. The Italian club will try to bring out the best in Reinier and give him the platform to develop his potential in a different environment.
Real Madrid, who continue to bet on Reinier’s talent, hope this season on loan in Serie A will allow the player to gain experience and maturity, which could open the door for a successful return to the merengue club in the future. Fans will be able to follow his progress at Frosinone next season.
