Reacting to Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ clash with ‘Sam Bahadur’, Vicky Kaushal said this

There will be a huge clash between two films at the box office this Friday. In fact, Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur and Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal are releasing on the same day to the same praise. Both films are very popular and are also booked in advance. While promoting his film, Vicky Kaushal opened up about the box office conflict with Ranbir Kapoor’s film Animal and emphasized that both are for Hindi cinema.

Vicky Kaushal’s most awaited film Sam Bahadur is a biopic. This film is a war drama based on the life of the first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The Ranbir Kapoor starrer film is an animal crime thriller. Both films are based on different tastes and themes.

Speaking to Indian Express, while reacting to the collision of his film ‘Sam Bahadur’ with Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’, Vicky Kaushal said that both the films are essentially from the same team i.e. Hindi Cinema. He said: “If two opening batsmen for the same team come to the crease playing, you cannot say that the two batsmen are facing each other. They play for the same team, so we play for Hindi cinema.”

When Vicky was further asked which film will push the boundaries and which will focus on singles? To this question, Vicky replied, “The audience will decide.”

The trailer of the film gave a glimpse of the character of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, played by Vicky Kaushal. This film is directed by Meghna Gulzar. The story of this film is set in the context of the 1971 India-Pakistan War. In the film, Sanya Malhotra will play the role of Vicky Kaushal’s wife, while Fatima Sana Shaikh will be seen in the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
