RCB Reaches IPL Final After 9 Years

Royal Challengers Bangalore Captain Rajat Patidar thanks fans after making it to the Indian Premier League final.
One more match to go, he says, and they’ll celebrate together.

Rajat’s team made it to the final after beating Punjab Kings by 8 wickets. Phil Salt hit 56 runs, not out.
In the final on June 3, they’ll play the winner of the match between Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians.

Rajat says, “Our plan was clear. Our fast bowlers used the pitch well, and Suyash did a great job.”
He praises Phil Salt, saying he’s a big fan of how Phil starts matches.

Suyash got three wickets for 17 runs and was named ‘Player of the Match’.
Punjab’s captain Shreyas Iyer says they lost wickets too fast.
“We didn’t do our plans wrong,” he says, “but we just didn’t do them well.”

The Royal Challengers will play in their fourth IPL final.
Their fast bowlers, Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Yash Dayal, did a great job.
Suyash says his job is to bowl at the stumps, and that’s what he did.
Now, they’re waiting for the final match on June 3.
