Ravindra Jadeja has created history and achieved a feat in ODI cricket that no one else has achieved.

Indian team all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja achieved the feat of completing his 200 ODI wickets in the match against Bangladesh in the 2023 Asia Cup. In this match, Jadeja achieved this feat by taking the wicket of Shamim Hussain. Now he is also the first left-arm spin bowler from India to take 200 wickets in ODI cricket. Apart from this, Jadeja is the second Indian player after Kapil Dev to score more than 2000 runs with 200 or more wickets in ODI.

The previous record for taking the most wickets as a spin bowler in ODIs for India belongs to Anil Kumble, who took a total of 334 wickets in his career. After that, Harbhajan Singh’s name comes second with 265 wickets. Ravindra Jadeja is third with 200 wickets.

Furthermore, Ravindra Jadeja is the second all-rounder player after former India captain Kapil Dev to score more than 2000 runs with the bat in ODI format and also take 200 wickets. Jadeja achieved this milestone in his 182 ODI matches. So far, Jadeja has averaged 36.85 with the ball in the 50-overs format. Let us tell you that Jadeja has taken 275 wickets in Test and 51 wickets in T20 for India so far.

Ravindra Jadeja gave a statement on his batting behavior to Star Sports ahead of the match against Bangladesh and said that I am currently concentrating on my bowling and trying to throw the ball at the stumps so that they don’t get any space.
