Ravi Kishan said, “Manoj Kumar’s films showed the real India. He had a historic image. His demise is very sad. The film industry cannot fill this void. Manoj Kumar popularized the word ‘Bharat’. He showcased culture and values through his songs. Today, the entire film industry is in mourning.”

Ravi Kishan added, “We learned what cinema is from Manoj Kumar. He was a filmmaker from whom many big directors learned to make films. He introduced us to futuristic photography and larger-than-life cinema. His departure is a huge loss for the entire film industry.”
Manoj Kumar had been battling liver cirrhosis for a long time. He was hospitalized on February 21, 2025, but unfortunately, he passed away at the age of 87. The film industry will deeply miss this legendary figure.
