Rashmika Mandanna has publicly expressed her profound sorrow regarding the recent, tragic bus accident in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. The acclaimed actress took to social media to share her grief and offer prayers for the victims and their families.
She described the incident as “truly devastating” in a heartfelt message posted on her Instagram story. Mandanna conveyed that her “heart is heavy with the news from Kurnool.”
The actress found it “unbearable to imagine what those passengers went through inside that burning bus.” She highlighted the heartbreaking loss of “an entire family, including small children, and so many others” in mere minutes.
“My deepest condolences and prayers are with every family affected by this tragedy,” Mandanna concluded. She added, “May God rest their souls in peace.”
The devastating bus fire in Kurnool claimed numerous lives. The incident saw a bus carrying 43 passengers engulfed in flames.
Only 23 individuals, including the two drivers, managed to survive the horrific event. Reports indicate the remaining passengers perished in the blaze.
This tragic accident reportedly occurred late at night, according to ANI news agency.
In her professional life, Mandanna is currently working on Maddock’s horror-comedy film, ‘Thama.’ Aditya Sarpotdar directs the project.
She stars alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal in the film. ‘Thama’ also features various cameos and surprises and is performing strongly at the box office.
