Movie theaters have opened across the country since the Corona epidemic subsided, but it seems that the revenue streams for Bollywood movies are still closed. In recent days, South’s movies have made record gains at the box office, but when a Hindi movie hits the box office, it doesn’t get much attention from the audience. Now something similar has happened with Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ released this week. This film, which started very badly on the first day, has had to miss the public on the second day as well.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has released ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ day two earnings figures which are disappointing for the creators. The film has done a business of just Rs 4 crore on the second day of Saturday. Earlier on Friday, the film did a business of Rs 3.25 crore on opening day. That is, the film has made a business of Rs 7.25 crore in two days. With this slow rate of earnings, it is believed that the film will be able to fetch only around Rs 12 crore in the opening weekend.
#JayeshbhaiJordaar picks up on Day 2, but not enough to make up lost ground due to extremely low start on Day 1… Eyes ₹12 cr [+/-] total on its weekend, a dismal number for a movie starring a prominent name… Fri 3.25 cr, Sat 4 cr. Total: ₹7.25 Cr. #India deal. pic.twitter.com/YUR1Fw807q

Jayeshbhai Jordar has been directed by Divyang Thakkar. This is his directorial debut. In the film, Ranveer Singh plays the character of an ordinary Gujarati man who fights with his Orthodox family to save the life of his future child. Boman Irani has been seen in the role of Ranveer’s father in the film. It also stars Ratna Pathak Shah.
In recent times, movies like RRR and KGF 2 from South Film Industry have earned a place in the Hindi belt. But at the same time, the fate of Bollywood movies like Jersey, Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 got much worse. These movies also had a very weak opening on day one.
