Ranveer Singh had crossed all the boundaries to become Bittu Sharma of ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’, read

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ revealed how he visited Delhi University to learn about Delhi culture for the role of Bittu Sharma in ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’. The actor, who will now be seen in a dramatic comedy ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’, accompanied his co-actress Shalini Pandey on the sets of the show to promote the film.

Ranveer said, “I auditioned for ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ and was told that the role is a 21-year-old from Delhi. So I did all the Delhi-based movies that were being made at the time as if I worked on my pronunciation after watching ‘Hey Lucky Lucky Hey’ by Dibakar Banerjee. So, Mr. Aditya (Chopra) couldn’t believe that I was born and raised in Mumbai.”


The actor also talked about his movie ‘Jayeshbhai Jordaar’ and said, “The only thing about the script is that I have never heard such a story before. When I narrated the movie, I was crying and laughing at the same time.” a rare movie. Even though he’s a first-time director, it’s also the first time in my life that I said ‘yes’ to a script on the spot! I said, ‘I have to do this!’ ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ airs on Sony Entertainment Television.
