Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh recently caused a stir with some nude photos. And, of course, an NGO charges and arrests the 37-year-old man.
The actor was arrested for obscenity under Sections 292 and 294 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 509 and 67(A) of the Information Technology (IT) Act. It is said that he hurt women’s feelings and insulted his modesty with the photos. A report was recorded.
Ranveer Singh has since issued a statement. The actor claims that one of the photos has been edited. “Mumbai police recorded actor Ranveer Singh’s statement regarding the nude photo shoot case on August 29. According to the information now available, the actor claims that someone tampered with one of the photos.”
Ranveer also claims that he did not post the controversial photos online.
