The group stage matches of the Ranji Trophy have concluded, and the eight teams that will compete in the quarter-finals have been determined. These teams are Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Vidarbha, Tamil Nadu, Haryana, Mumbai, Saurashtra, and Gujarat. The first quarter-final match between Jammu and Kashmir and Kerala is scheduled to take place from February 8 at the Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium in Pune. Initially, the match was planned to be held in Srinagar, but the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association expressed concerns to the Indian Cricket Board about the weather forecast, leading to a change in venue. Jammu and Kashmir secured their spot in the quarter-finals with a notable 182-run win over Baroda in their previous match.
At the same time, Karnataka’s Ranji Trophy campaign ended with a draw against Haryana in the Elite Group C match, but they were unable to advance to the next round. Haryana, on the other hand, has already qualified for the knockout stage and will face Mumbai between February 8 and 12 at the Chaudhary Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium in Rohtak. The team from Saurashtra will compete against Gujarat at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. The four quarter-final matches will take place from February 8 to 12, with all matches starting at 9:30 am Indian time. The winners of the quarter-finals will earn a spot in the semi-finals, which are scheduled to take place between February 17 and 21.
