The final match of Ranji Trophy 2022 is played between Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh. In the title match, which started at M Chinnaswamy, Bangalore from Thursday, there is stiff competition between the two teams. Mumbai scored 374 runs in the first innings thanks to Sarfaraz Khan’s century. Sarfaraz Khan, keeping up his excellent form, scored his fourth century of this season’s Ranji Trophy. With the help of inputs from him, he not only took the difficulty out of a sticky situation, but also led it to a solid score.
Sarfaraz’s eyes narrowed after scoring the century, he told reporters that this century is for my father, it is for his sacrifice and for my hand when he was disappointed.
Both Naushad’s sons Sarfaraz and Musheer play for the Mumbai team. When asked if the dream of gaining a foothold in the Indian team is on the way to being fulfilled. Sarfaraz’s eyes narrowed in response to this question. He said that our life is about the little dreams that we treasure. We (he and his father) see dreams together. The nearly 2,000 runs I have scored in two seasons since my return to Mumbai are due to my father.
When there is no match, the brothers practice for six to seven hours each day under the supervision of their father. Due to some disciplinary problems, Sarfaraz had to go to Uttar Pradesh for a season and spent some “refreshment” time before returning, after which he was selected again in the Mumbai team.
Sarfaraz said that everyone knows what happened to me. If Abbu hadn’t been there, he would have finished. There were so many problems and I get emotional when I think about how my father dealt with them. He didn’t leave my hand even once. My brother has put a ‘status’ on his phone and I can see how happy Abbu is. It’s my day.
Sarfaraz is a fan of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, who was recently shot dead by a gang. Sarfaraz celebrates after scoring a hundred Musewala style (hit to the thigh). When asked about it, Sarfaraz said it was for Sidhu Musewala. I love his songs and mainly myself and Hardik Tamore (goalkeeper) listen to his songs. I also had a similar celebration during the last match, but then Hotstar didn’t show it. I had decided that every time I score another century, I will celebrate like this.
