The upcoming film Animal directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is in the news even before its release. Ever since the trailer of the film was released, fans can’t wait for the release of this film. While there is speculation about the film’s record opening, there is also speculation about whether the film will receive an A certificate and whether its running time will impact its earnings. Now Ranbir Kapoor has broken his silence on the matter.
“Animal” recently received the “A” certificate from CBFC. The film’s running time was also stated to be 3 hours 21 minutes. Afterwards it was said that people would get bored with such a long film. In a recent conversation, Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna defended the film’s running time and said that the film completely justified its length.
In fact, at a press conference in Bengaluru, when asked about the long run of Animal, Ranbir Kapoor said, “We don’t release a film for such a long period because we are arrogant.” We felt that so much time was needed was to convey the story to the audience in the best possible way.
He said that he and the team saw a longer excerpt of the film. Ranbir said, “And in fact, we all saw the cut of this film which was 3 hours and 49 minutes and that too remained intact.” That was entertaining too. But Sandeep has worked hard to reduce his height. Because you can’t stretch it that far. But hopefully the audience won’t be intimidated by the length. Just come along and have the best cinema experience.
Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, many stars including Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor and Suresh Oberoi have played important roles in ‘Animal’ directed by Sandir Reddy Vanga. This film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 1st.
