Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is preparing for the release of “Shamshera,” says that he loves being a part of original stories and loves original music in his movies. He is happy that in this age of remixes, his next film will have original music that he hopes the audience will enjoy.
Ranbir says, “Remixes shouldn’t be left out, they have their place in the world and the public enjoys it, but I love being a part of original stuff, ideas, origin stories and especially original music.” The actor further says: ‘Whether it’s Mohit Chauhan or Arijit Singh or Pritam or AR. Rahman or all the different musicians that I’ve worked with have been really instrumental in my growth as an actor and a star. This is another step with Shamshera.
The first two songs ‘Jee Huzoor’ and the romantic song ‘Fitoor’ from ‘Shamshera’ are situational songs that advance the story of the film. ‘Fitoor’ is sung by Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan and Ranbir is hopeful that the song will connect emotionally in a major way. The actor also says: ‘I love ‘Fitoor’. It’s a beautiful romantic song that I hope people will love too. The scale of ‘Fitoor’ is insane and it will look great on the big screen. Directed by Karan Malhotra, this action movie is produced by Aditya Chopra and will be released on July 22 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt also have lead roles in the film.
