Rajsthan Royals CEO Jake Lash McCrum spotted at liquor store after team’s loss.

The Rajasthan Royals’ struggles this IPL season have been well-documented, but a recent sighting of the team’s CEO, Jake Lush McCrum, has added fuel to the fire. A fan caught McCrum on video heading into a liquor store in Bengaluru, and the clip has been making the rounds on social media.

The video, which has been widely shared, appears to show McCrum walking into Tonique, a liquor store, after the Royals’ latest loss. The fan who recorded the video claimed that McCrum was looking to drown his sorrows after the team’s disappointing performance.

The Royals’ Slump Continues

The Royals’ loss to RCB was particularly galling, as they were in a strong position with seven wickets in hand and just 78 runs needed off eight overs. However, they ultimately fell short, losing by 11 runs. This was the third time in a row that the Royals have thrown away a seemingly comfortable lead.

The team’s overall form this season has been underwhelming, with just two wins in nine matches. They currently sit eighth in the points table with four points. To make the playoffs, they’ll need to win all their remaining matches and hope that other teams falter.

Can the Royals Turn it Around?

Even if the Royals do manage to win all their remaining matches, they’ll still need to reach a total of 14 points to have any hope of making the playoffs. Historically, teams have needed around 16 points to secure a spot in the top four. The Royals will need a bit of luck to go their way if they want to stay alive.

The Royals’ playoff chances are looking slim, but they’re not out of it yet. They’ll need to regroup and refocus if they want to make a late-season push. For now, McCrum’s liquor store visit will continue to be the talk of the town.
