Rajat Patidar made history by scoring an undefeated century, broke many records in the playoffs

Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Rajat Patidar scored a century in a stormy performance. Rajat played an unbeaten innings of 112 runs in the IPL 2022 Eliminator match against Lucknow Super Giants. Thanks to his innings, Bangalore gave Lucknow a target of 208 runs. Rajat made many records in this match by putting on a stormy performance. He has become the fifth player to score a hundred in an IPL knockout or playoff match.

Rajat faced 54 balls against Lucknow and hit 12 fours and 7 sixes. In this way he scored 112 not out. Because of this entry, Patidar made a special record in his name. He became the fourth uncapped player to score a century in the IPL. Before him, Manish Pandey had scored a century in 2009. While Devdutt Padikkal has done this feat in 2021. Rajat reached the top in terms of scoring the fastest century in the IPL playoff match. He matched Wriddhiman Saha. Both players completed the century in 49 balls.
