Racing Bulls Unveils New F1 Car with Honda Engines and Bold Design

The day after the F1 2025 campaign launch event was a whirlwind of excitement in the racing world. Ferrari, understandably, stole the spotlight, but another team made a striking impression in Imola. With an Italian heart and Austrian financing, Racing Bulls, led by Yuki Tsunoda and Isack Hadjar, unveiled their new car. This team, formerly known as Toro Rosso and Alpha Tauri, has rebranded with a fresh identity that pays homage to its Red Bull roots without being a carbon copy.

This is the Racing Bulls.

The VCARB 02, powered by Honda engines in collaboration with Red Bull PowerTrains, boasts several surprises. The most notable change is the team’s new name, which retains Visa Cash APP as a sponsor. Peter Bayer, the team’s CEO, emphasized that if they were merely copying Red Bull, they wouldn’t be where they are today. This sentiment is reflected in their distinct decoration, which has transitioned from blue to a predominantly white design, featuring the iconic bull logo. The new look will undoubtedly compete with Aston Martin and Williams for the most beautiful livery on the track.

The car itself has undergone significant changes, incorporating secrets from Red Bull’s championship-winning RB20, including pontoons and suspension. However, Bayer is quick to point out that their car is not a replica, drawing comparisons to Haas’s close relationship with Ferrari.

On the track, the team’s lineup has generated considerable interest. Yuki Tsunoda, who didn’t secure a spot at Red Bull, will be joined by Isack Hadjar, one of the most exciting debutants this season. Hadjar’s performance in the F2 championship, where he battled it out with Brazilian driver Bortoleto until the very end, has been impressive. With Tsunoda’s experience and Hadjar’s potential, Racing Bulls is certainly a team to watch in the upcoming season.
