On Instagram, Khanna posted about her character, stating, “She did not go to the battlefield, but she lived the war every day.” She expressed that she has embraced the character completely. Khanna dedicated the role to “those women who love silently.” These are the women who manage the homes of soldiers. She described them as carrying “pride and pain together.”
Her character, Sugan Shaitan Singh Bhati, is the wife of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. Farhan Akhtar plays this lead role in the film.

The film, directed by Rajneesh Ghai, is based on a true story. It depicts the 1962 India-China war, specifically focusing on the Battle of Rezang La.
This battle saw approximately 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment. They were led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. These soldiers bravely confronted over 3,000 Chinese troops. They defended their post until their final breath.
“120 Bahadur” is scheduled for release on November 21.
