R6 Reload Championship Sees Brazilian Teams Shine with Dominant Performances and Trash Talk

The third day of the RELOAD Rainbow Six Siege championship wrapped up with a bang in Rio de Janeiro. Brazilian teams dominated the day, with most coming out on top. Team BDS head coach Laurie “Lyloun” Lagier got under G2 Esports’ skin with some sharp comments. When asked who surprised her, Lyloun initially said G2, but then revealed it was actually Team Falcons that caught her off guard after their tough loss.

Here’s how the Brazilian teams fared:

  • FURIA beat Team Secret 7-4
  • LOUD took down Fnatic 7-2
  • W7M Esports edged out DarkZero 8-6
  • FEARX crushed Spacestation Gaming 7-3

Only FaZe Clan had a tough day, losing to Team Liquid 8-7. The other Brazilian teams remain unbeaten.

The championship’s innovative format involves using cards that affect gameplay and reloading “ammo” for each match. Some interesting card choices were made during the third day:

  • Team Secret used the Chicken card when Team Falcons was chosen
  • PSG Talon, Elevate, Cloud9, G2 Esports, and Spacestation Gaming all used the Extended Magazine card

The “ammo” reloads varied among teams, with some choosing to reload more than others:

  • M80 reloaded once
  • Several teams, including Team Secret and FURIA, reloaded twice
  • Teams like Elevate and Wildcard reloaded three times
  • LOUD, FaZe Clan, and DarkZero reloaded four times

The action continues today with more matches. You can catch all the action live on the official Rainbow Six Brasil channel, which will be streaming two separate games simultaneously.
