Brazilian esports powerhouses are set to dominate the inaugural and sole Rainbow Six Siege Major of 2025, kicking off this week in Munich with a substantial $750,000 prize pool. Four prominent Brazilian teams—FURIA, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and W7M Esports—will compete, aiming to extend their country’s legacy as a dominant force in the professional R6 circuit.
The BLAST R6 Major Munich 2025 runs from November 8 to November 16. It represents a critical event for teams vying for international recognition and crucial Six Invitational points, which are essential for qualifying for the sport’s world championship.
Brazil has historically been the most successful nation in Rainbow Six Siege, securing numerous international titles. The presence of four top-tier teams underscores the region’s continued strength and competitive drive.
The tournament will feature 16 teams from around the globe. Competition begins with a Swiss-style group stage where teams must win three matches to advance to the playoffs and are eliminated after three losses. Best-of-three series will decide qualification and elimination matches, while other games are best-of-one.
The playoffs will shift to a double-elimination format with the top eight teams battling in front of a live audience. Teams face elimination after two losses, with the final two contenders advancing to the grand final to compete for the championship title and approximately $250,000 in prize money.
