R6: FURIA Wins in Upset, Advances in RELOAD, FaZe Clan Eliminated Early.

The final day of the RELOAD Rainbow Six Siege tournament’s first phase wrapped up with a bang. Several teams were already out of the running, while others still had a shot at advancing. The big question was which teams would make it to the next round.

The highly anticipated matchup between FURIA and FaZe Clan, two Brazilian powerhouses, was the main event. The current world champions, FURIA, had a tough time securing their spot in the next phase, coming close the day before but ultimately needing to play another round due to a tiebreaker.

Some teams, like Cloud9, M80, and G2 Esports, were already eliminated but still played out their matches. G2 Esports pulled off a surprise upset, knocking out DarkZero. Here are the match results:

  • Cloud9 (5) vs M80 (7)
  • Team BDS (5) vs FEARX (7)
  • Team Secret (2) vs Wildcard (7)
  • DarkZero (6) vs G2 Esports (8)
  • FaZe Clan (3) vs FURIA (7)

The winners – Wildcard, FEARX, and FURIA – moved on to the next phase. Interestingly, M80 and G2 Esports accumulated more points than some teams that advanced the day before. The final standings were determined by their position in the table after round four, not just their overall score.
