The trailer for the film ‘Dhurandhar,’ directed by Aditya Dhar, was recently released on Tuesday. Actor R. Madhavan discussed his character’s distinctive look during the trailer launch event.
Madhavan revealed that achieving the precise appearance for his role involved an extensive look test. This process took approximately three to four hours to get everything just right.
Director Aditya Dhar identified a missing element during these tests. He suggested to Madhavan that he should thin his lips for the character.
Madhavan then maintained this specific lip alteration throughout the entire production of the film. He recalled Dhar’s precise instruction: “Maddy, make your lips thinner.”

Madhavan expressed his deep admiration for director Aditya Dhar’s research. He was astounded by the depth of Dhar’s preparation for ‘Dhurandhar.’
The actor considers himself fortunate to have been part of several historical films. However, he believes ‘Dhurandhar’ will stand out as the most historic among them.
He further predicted a significant impact on Indian cinema upon its release. Madhavan suggested the film could mark the end of an entire genre of movies.
‘Dhurandhar’ is set to premiere in theaters on December 5. The film features a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun.
