semiwork, the company behind R.E.P.O., recently shared some exciting news. They put out a new trailer. It showed off a big new feature called the Dead Head system. This update will come to the game very soon. Imagine being able to chat with your friends in the game even after you’ve died. That’s exactly what this system lets you do.
But there’s a catch. When you come back, you’re just a head. You also can’t do as much as you could when you were alive. To activate this, you simply wait for a battery to fully charge. Once it’s ready, your friend’s head will float right next to the players who are still alive. It’s a quirky way to stay connected.
This head-only state needs power. If your battery runs out, you’ll go back to being a spectator. Still, it’s a neat trick. It lets you offer some help or advice to your team. It’s certainly better than doing nothing at all.
This cool new Dead Head system will arrive on October 30th. It is part of a much larger release called the Monster Update. Get ready for some spooky, floating fun!
