The Senior Women’s National Volleyball Team debuts this Tuesday (6:40 am) against Japan, in Group 2, in the town of Nagoya, at the start of the 2023 National Volleyball League, where the best teams in the world will compete in the joust organized every year by the International Volleyball Federation.
This Wednesday, the Dominican team rests. While on Thursday, June 1, the Dominicans will take to the field to face the Bulgarian team.
Milagros Cabral, general director of the Project, affirmed that for this 2023 there are about 30 players summoned who will be acting in the different international events, since there is a great agenda of international events.
The Creole team has been in Japan for several days where they concluded their training sessions for the contest on Monday.
The national team has on its payroll as setters: Niverka (Captain) and Yokaty Pérez.
Opposite: Gaila González. As attackers will be Brayelin Martínez, Vielka Peralta and Yonkaira Peña. Bethania de la Cruz has just recovered from an operation on one of her knees.
The centrals will be Jineiry M, Hinojosa, Geraldine G., Alondra Tapia & Lisvel Eve
As liberos, Larysmer M, Yaneirys R & Brenda Castillo will join the team in the coming days.
The 2023 Volleyball Nations League celebrates its women’s competition from May 30 to July 17.
The tournament brings together the best volleyball teams in the world.
