Quartararo set the course in MotoGP

The French Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha) obtained the best time this Saturday and will start in pole position in the MotoGP motorcycle race, which will take place in Mandalika for the Indonesian Grand Prix, the second competition of the season.

The world champion of the highest motorcycle division set a time of 1m. 31s. 067/1000, at an average of 170,380 kilometers per hour. Quartararo led Spanish Jorge Martín (Ducati) by just 213 thousandths, who qualified second; while the first starting row will be completed by the Frenchman Johann Zarco (Ducati), who finished at 311/1000. In fourth position was the South African Brad Binder (KTM), while the Italians Enea Bastianini (Ducati) and Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) occupied the fifth and sixth positions. The six-time world champion, Marc Márquez (Honda), exhibited a discreet classification, with a fourteenth place with pleasure little by little.

Bastianini was the winner of the first competition of the season, held in Losail (Qatar), at the beginning of the month. The second placement was in the hands of Binder, while the Spaniard Pol Espargaró (Honda) was third.

The competition will take place over 20 laps of the 4,300-meter circuit, starting at 4:00 in Argentina.
