A septuagenarian and her granddaughter fell from a merry-go-round on Tuesday, August 17, in Nay in the Pyrenees-Atlantiques.
The grandmother and her granddaughter were on a 10-foot-tall children’s ferris wheel in the heart of a fun fair, she reports. France Blue.
As the weight of the two passengers did not match what the cabin could support, the basket tipped over. The 70-year-old woman and the child fell to the ground.
Shocked, the grandmother was taken to the Pau hospital. The two victims were not injured. A gendarmerie investigation opens.
