Punta Cana International Airport incorporates 79 monthly flights with new routes and airlines

The Punta Cana International Airport (AIPC) incorporated 79 monthly flights on seven new routes and on others that already existed, and the frequency was increased, between August 2020 and the first week of January 2022.

Frank Elías Rainieri, president and CEO of Grupo Puntacana, commented that The new flights and the resumption of other suspended ones show that the acceptance of important markets in the Dominican tourist offer continues and particularly in what Punta Cana offers.

He also stated that this response from the airlines expresses confidence in the quality of the services offered by the Punta Cana International Airport and its success as the main terminal in the Caribbean region.

He recalled that in the last annual evaluation survey of Dominican tourist services carried out by the Central Bank, the facilities of the Punta Cana International Airport gained 72.4% as excellent and 22.6% as very good and 3.9% as good, for a consolidated of 98.9% and in services 99.7%.
