Tv ads just got a new twist. Publiespaña is rolling out Golden Roll, a live video ad format. It will play at the start of popular reality shows on Telecinco, like “La Isla de las Tentaciones”, “GH Dúo”, and “Supervivientes”.
This ad format is a first – it’s a single unique spot that’s sold based on cost per thousand viewers. The spot will air on Telecinco, and also on the Mediaset España group’s other platforms. That includes TV, connected TV, and digital platforms like Mitele and Telecinco.es.
Takis is the first brand to try out Golden Roll. Their product, Takis Blue Heat, will be advertised at the start of these prime-time shows. “La Isla de las Tentaciones” is a huge hit – its latest season just ended with the highest share since 2021. It was also the most-watched prime-time show of the season.
The show has broken its own records for digital video traffic and consumption. Mediaset España is now leading the pack in terms of audiovisual groups, with Mitele having its best month ever, according to GfK DAM.
