Public Health decreases the capacity of the Quisqueya State to 50%

The Ministry of Public Health reduced the capacity of fans who can attend the Quisqueya Juan Marichal Stadium, in Santo Domingo.

Minister Daniel Rivera had expressed in a press conference on December 29 that he expected only 50% of the fans to attend the game that took place that same night.

He himself confessed that he had a conversation with the president of the Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic (Lidom), Vitelio Mejía Ortiz, and recommended that only half capacity attend the event.

Starting tomorrow, which will be the game of the Águilas Cibaeñas against the Tigres del Licey, only 50% will be allowed in, when before the capacity limit was 70% of the capacity of the stadium in general.

In Santiago and San Francisco de Macorís the maximum amount is 50%.

The Quisqueya Stadium has a capacity for 14,469 people to occupy their seats, according to the page conéctate.com.do, but for activities such as concerts they can fit up to 25,000.
