He Paris Saint Germain (PSG) this Saturday announced the sale of Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum to Saudi team Al Ettifaqwho was loaned to AS Roma last season.
WijnaldumThe 32-year-old began his professional career in 2007 with the feyenoord from Rotterdam, his native city, with whom he played for five seasons and in 2011 moved to another club in the Netherlands, PSV Eindhoven, where he played from 2011 to 2015.
The midfielder then initially went to the English league newcastle in the 2015-2016 season and then in the Liverpoolwith whom he played 237 games in five years and with which he won the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020.
Winjnaldum, who took his country’s side to third place at the 2014 World Cup, signed with PSG in June 2021 and played 38 games with the French capital’s side, helping them win the league.
He went on loan in the 2022–2023 season AS Romathe last club he wore the shirt for last year.
