Paris Saint-Germain failed to secure a win, but they’re still on track to become four-time Ligue 1 champions.
The team, led by Spanish coach Luis Enrique, drew 1-1 with Nantes on Tuesday.
Nantes, fighting to avoid relegation, celebrated the point they earned from the match.
A Nail-Biting Finish
Vitinha scored the only goal for PSG in the first half, netting his seventh goal of the season.
The Portuguese midfielder started the move and finished it with a left-footed shot in the box at the 33rd minute.
Nuno Mendes and João Neves started the match as usual, but Mendes played as right-back since Achraf Hakimi wasn’t even on the roster.
In the second half, Nantes pushed forward, and PSG’s goalkeeper, Gigi Donnarumma, made a great save at the 60th minute to deny Castelletto.
Nuno Mendes was substituted soon after, and Gonçalo Ramos came on to maintain the Portuguese presence on the field.
Vitinha almost scored again at the 66th minute, but Patrik Carlgren, who replaced injured goalkeeper Anthony Lopes, made a good save.
Nantes gained momentum and equalized at the 83rd minute with a great goal from Brazilian midfielder Douglas Augusto.
Gonçalo Ramos hit the post in the 90th+1 minute, but it was too late to change the result.
The draw ended PSG’s ten-match winning streak.
