Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique has voiced strong confidence in striker Gonçalo Ramos, even as the Ligue 1 leaders prepare to face Strasbourg without injured midfielder João Neves.
Enrique lauded Ramos as “an important player for us,” adding, “we are very satisfied with his performance. We trust his ability.”
Ramos has netted three goals in 10 appearances for PSG this season, a key contribution as the club aims to maintain its top position in the French league.
Meanwhile, Neves remains sidelined, continuing his recovery from a left thigh injury. He will not feature in the eighth-round Ligue 1 fixture against Strasbourg.
The 55-year-old Spanish coach also cautioned against complacency, noting that games are “always difficult after an international break.”
PSG, currently at the top of the league standings, is set to host Strasbourg in an evening fixture.
