Promipyme delivers RD$23.2 million in loans to microentrepreneurs from Haina and El Carril

The National Council for the Promotion and Support of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Promipyme), handed out this Friday loans worth 23 million 260 thousand pesos to 213 micro and small entrepreneurs from the Bajo de Haina and El Carril.

With this opportunity, more than 270 families will benefit of these localities of the San Cristóbal province. During the delivery of the incentives, Porfirio Peralta, head of Promipyme, urged small microentrepreneurs to continue working to strengthen their businesses.

“At this time, the MSME sectors have to be innovative, learn to manage their knowledge, search for information, for your business to growknow how to serve customers, because “service is key, whoever has a good product has how to respond to customers,” said the official.

During the delivery of loans made at the Educational Center in Arts: “Manuel Feliz Peña” of Haina, Porfirio Peralta 74% of said financings were directed to women; the rest benefits the commercial, industrial and service sectors.

Beneficiaries include Welcome Rafael Martínez, Crucita Rodríguez, Jorge Gabriel Reyes Jiménez, Angelita Alcántara, Antonio Alcántara Pujols, Pedro Aquino Feliz, Severina López, Norberto Trinidad Pinales and Rafael Augusto Santos.

In his speech, Peralta also highlighted that this is the second time that the entity, under his management, visits Haina and added that this is a sign that for the State The growth of these micro-enterprises is a priority.

The main table was made up of the municipal mayors Antonio Brito, from Quita Sueño, Osvaldo Rodríguez, from Haina, Miguel Ángel Pena, El Carril, Jorge Ortiz Carela, San Gregorio de Nigua, the deputies Frank Junior Guerrero and Margarita Tejada, as well as the Governor, Pure Casilla.
