Lanús debuted in the Professional League with a valuable 2-1 victory in Santa Fe against a Colón who filled his audience with concern with a deficient performance in every aspect. The visit took the lead after 12 minutes thanks to a goal from Pedro De la Vega and sealed the game at 26′ of the second half in a counterattack that ended with Franco Orozco admitted.
The locals reached discount near the end, at 40′, with one of the few free shots at Lautaro Morales’s goal, which Paraguayan Jorge Benítez tried minutes after entering the game.
With tactical order and success to capitalize on their opportunities, the “Garnet” embraced a victory that allowed them to start the season with good feelings after a weak 2022.
Colón, on the other hand, did not offer reasons for optimism tonight: it was a fragile team, without play or rebellion.

Lanús managed the advantage calmly due to the inoffensiveness of a Colón with no projection on the wings and with its forwards isolated due to the lack of construction.
The push of the Colombian Baldomero Perlaza, protagonists of the tepid attempts of “Sabalero”, was not enough to disturb a rival who waited for his moment to strike again.
And it came after the changes, with a pass into space for Franco Troyanski, who enabled Orozco to define with the entire arc available.
