Professional League: Gymnastics went down to Workshops with a win

The Talleres de Córdoba guard loses this afternoon on his visit to Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata by 5-2, a result that would leave River in a position to be champion next Thursday if at least it draws against Racing, for the twenty-second date of the Professional League.

On his return to the “Juan Carmelo Zerillo” stadium in the Buenos Aires capital, with the arbitration of Leandro Rey Hilfer, the “Lobo” took advantage of two assists from Luis Miguel “Pulga” Rodríguez to gain the advantage: first he launched a precise free kick that Colombian Johan Carbonero pushed at six minutes and then led a transition in which he yielded to Eric Ramírez, who defined on the second attempt.

At the start of the second half, Enzo Día discounted for the Cordobans, and a few minutes later, at 55, Pulga made it 3-1 for the La Plata players; and at 62 Komar discounted again. Licht, at 77, scored the 4-2; and at 91, Alemán closed the win.

It is only useful for Talleres to win, because it has 40 units and is nine from River, which next Thursday will be local against Racing from 9:30 pm and with this result it could be champion if it achieves at least one draw.
