Santiago Ascacíbar put Estudiantes ahead on the scoreboard, while Lucas Melano established equality for the ‘green’ from Junin, who remains undefeated as a visitor.
In a match with an even process, Estudiantes, with good work from Zuqui and Rollheiser, went further and generated the best chances, in a duel that had an outstanding controversy: Toledo nudged Carrillo (knocked out two teeth) and not even the Referee Merlos on the field or Diego Abal in the VAR interpreted it as a foul.
Estudiantes opened the account when Ascacíbar volleyed the ball and goalkeeper Sebastián Meza could not control it.
