The new app overcomes a limitation of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is its camera’s Pro Mode was only available with two of its four rear cameras. Pro mode is an advanced feature of the Camera application that allows you to manually control items such as sensitivity, shutter speed, or RAW mode shooting.
The app’s announcement says that it can record lossless JPEG formats and 16-bit linear DNG RAW formats. Both produce images that benefit from multi-frame HDR processing, but the latter offers the flexibility you get when editing a RAW image file.
