Priyanka Gandhi lashed out at Modi

Indian opposition leader Priyanka Gandhi has given Prime Minister Modi a hard time on the issue of releasing the accused in the Bilqis Banu gang rape case.

While the release of the convicts of the Balquis Banu gang rape case is being strongly opposed across India, the opposition leader Priyanka Gandhi has also criticized the Modi government on this issue.

According to Indian media, Uttar Pradesh Congress in-charge General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and called him out.

Priyanka Gandhi said that Prime Minister Modi should explain why he sees goodness only in those who commit heinous crimes against women.

He further said that the two convicts released in the Bilqis Bano case have attempted sexual violence while on parole and cases have also been registered against them in this regard.

In this regard, Priyanka Gandhi has written in one of her tweets that two criminals released by the BJP government in the Bilqis Bano case were booked for sexual violence even during their 1,000-day parole. How did his good behavior show during his imprisonment? Will you tell the country?

It should be noted that 20 years ago in the Gujarat riots of 2002, Balquis Bano was gang-raped and her family was killed. After filing the incident report, the case was handed over to the CBI. The Modi government is under heavy criticism across the board and the government is constantly being demanded to withdraw this decision.
