Priyanka Chopra’s latest film, “Head of State,” is set to release on Prime Video on July 2. Before its release, the actress shared a harrowing experience during the film’s shooting in a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon.
Priyanka was performing a stunt that involved rolling on the ground in the rain. The camera was close to her, and as she rolled, the corner of the camera’s matte box hit her eyebrow. The impact was severe, and a part of her eyebrow tore off. “If it had hit a little lower, it could have taken out my eye,” Priyanka said. Despite the injury, she continued filming. Her eyebrow was treated with surgical glue, and she completed the shoot.
A Glimpse into the Incident
Priyanka revealed that she was determined to finish the scene, as she didn’t want to reshoot it in the rain. She described her professionalism in the face of adversity, stating that she was more concerned about completing the task at hand. The actress even shared a photo of her injury on social media, referring to the scar as her “favorite.”
The incident highlights Priyanka’s dedication to her craft. “Head of State” is an action-comedy film featuring Idris Elba and John Cena alongside Priyanka. The movie will be available in six languages on Prime Video.
