Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan’s wedding, see photos of the royal ceremony

Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Jordan tied the knot with Jameel Alexander Thermoutis yesterday. The wedding ceremony was broadcast live on state TV.

Jordanian Princess Iman bint Abdullah II of Arab media was married to Jameel Alexander Thermoutis in Amman’s Bait Al-Ardoun Palace on Sunday. 150 guests including delegates from Arab countries were present.

According to the report, the current first lady of Egypt, Intisar Amir, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Sheikh Salman bin Ahmed Al Khalifa of Bahrain, and Sheikha Amil of Kuwait were present in this wedding ceremony. Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah also participated.

The details of the wedding engagement were not made public before the grand ceremony. It should be noted that Queen Rania of Jordan shared a glimpse of the bride’s pre-wedding mehndi party on social media last weekend.

Queen Rania shared a post on social media titled ‘With friends and family under one roof with endless love’ at Iman’s mehendi party.

The ceremony includes images of Princess Iman in a white gown by renowned fashion designer Rima Dahbour, as well as a belt worn by Queen Rania during her wedding to King Abdullah II in 1993.

 

Princess Iman is the eldest daughter of King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al-Abdullah of Jordan, while Jamil Thermotis is of Greek origin, born in Caracas, Venezuela in 1994 and is currently a managing partner in a New York-based venture capital fund.
