Presidential 2022: Eric Zemmour down, according to a survey

Éric Zemmour backs off for the first time. With 14% of the vote, he would be preceded by the candidate RN Marine Le Pen, according to the Odoxa-Seagus poll for the Obs, carried out by Internet from November 5 to 8, 2021, on a sample of more than 3,000 French people. President Emmanuel Macron would collect 25% of the vote.

The fight is always very close on the right where no candidate really stands out in the race for the presidential nomination. Eric Zemmour would get 14% of the vote (-2 points) and thus remain behind the president of the National Rally Marine Le Pen (18%), in the first round of the presidential election.

In the event that the LR candidate would be Xavier Bertrand, the latter would obtain 12% (-1 point), and would end up in 4th position. Its competitors Valérie Pécresse and Michel Barnier would follow it at 9%.

On the left, it is Jean-Luc Mélenchon who leads the dance but it would remain less than 10% of the voting intentions.

As for the ecologist Yannick Jadot, he would do better than Anne Hidalgo, with 6.5 or 7% depending on the scenarios against 4.5% to 5%. For all the other candidates, the latter would be below 4% of the vote, including Arnaud Montebourg.

This new Odoxa poll was carried out on the Internet between November 5 and 8 via a representative sample of 3,005 French people aged 18 and over, including 2,756 registered on the electoral roll. But the voting intentions in this study were established with the people registered on the electoral rolls counting to vote and having expressed a voting intention, that is to say 1,917 to 1,946 individuals, according to the assumptions. The margin of error for this survey is between plus or minus 1.0 and 2.1 points.
