Manama: President Isaac Herzog became the first Israeli president to visit Bahrain.
According to foreign media, Israeli President Isaac Herzog became the first Israeli head of state to visit the Gulf state of Bahrain.
The Israeli President met with King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Crown Prince Sheikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on this occasion the two leaders discussed regional security and trade, among other issues.

Herzog made the visit on Sunday after the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2020. On the other hand, a large number of citizens in favor of Palestine gathered and protested against the visit of the Israeli president in Manama.

Herzog was accompanied by a delegation of industry and business representatives, who were received by Foreign Minister Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani upon arrival in Bahrain. The two countries specifically considered building linkages between representatives of the private sector.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited Bahrain on Sunday on the first trip by an Israeli head of state to the small Gulf kingdom, following the normalization of relations in 2020.

King Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa said his country supports the pursuit of a just, comprehensive and lasting peace, which guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, and which is shared by the Palestinian and Israeli people, as well as all the peoples of the region. It will lead to stability, development and happiness.
Israeli President Herzog Shah also brought a gift to Bahrain.
